I hired because I was hoping to get control of yard. What I got was more weeds than last year. I sent pics. I asked someone come talk to me. I signed up 7 treatments have had 3, maybe 4 ? So gonna have 3-4 more by when ? Got no reply’s to emails. No calls no visits. All that’s green in yard are weeds. I emailed I do not want them next year ! Never knew coming. I’d wake up see sign yet dogs never barked so did they even go in my backyard ? Hope so.

Be warned, these guys are dishonest while pretending to be nice. Here's a recap: I'd been using them for a couple/few years, really with no complaints. Then in 2023, the service went downhill. My lawn was no longer lush and green with far too many weeds popping up. I called as they say to and was told they'd be out to take care of it. Guess what? That didn't happen. Called again and was told they'd take care of the weeds on the next application visit, even though it was advertised and they advertise they would come out asap to handle these issues. Not happy about having to wait until convenient for them, but fine/whatever. Next application comes and lawn still looks bad. When I say bad I mean both of my neighbors don't do anything but cut their lawn almost to scalp with no treatment of any kind and their lawns look better than mine. If I didn't know/believe better, I'd say they were treating my neighbors yard and putting the sign in mine. Made a number of calls expressing my displeasure with the service/lack of actual service and was told by Amber that she would have the manager? call me to figure out what the issues were. Guess what? Never received that call. I called back three weeks in a row to remind them of their commitment to both the contract and to calling me back about the actual quality of my service. Every time I was given the same promise to call me and get this straightened out. Never received a call from anyone. I gave up, fertilized my own lawn and left a review expressing my displeasure and telling this story again so everyone could help understand the issues. Guess what? I got a call from John the day after I posted the review. He wanted to assure me this was all a big misunderstanding. All those calls I made 'Must have just fallen through the cracks, so sorry. We're going to take care of this.' He indicated he would personally come to see my lawn, take a soil sample for testing and put a plan/program together to get it right. He/they were going to correct this. I reminded him it was now November and anything they did would probably garner little results as well as telling him I had purchased a spreader and treated my lawn recently, so anything done that would cause harm to it would not be appreciated. He said not to worry and wanted to make this right. He indicated they would provide the entire next years' 2024 service for no cost to me. They would take soil samples to determine if there's something specific that needs to be done...Providing I edited my Google review... So the message is we don't care UNTIL you leave a less than favorable review, then we're all over it. I told him this experience has caused me to have little faith that they would do what they said after not doing so to this point. I agreed to edit my previous review, which I did. I deliberately did not mention any of their names, nor did I say anything about them giving me next years service without charge. I did that purposefully so that people didn't just give fake bad reviews attempting to get free stuff. I have no idea if anyone came out and took the soil sample or did anything to the lawn after that conversation. Fast forward to 2024, It started getting into March. Having not seen any signs in my yard, I called John, telling/reminding him who I was to confirm he remembered me and his previous commitment. After some shuffling around, he indicated he did recall me and they were giving me the first two treatments at no charge. I reminded him that was not what he offered and not the agreement we made for me editing my review. He got slight amnesia and said, let's get the first two treatments taken care of as well as the soil sample (That I thought they had already done.) and well move forward from there. Not what he offered (I say that as I did not ask for anything, everything was offered to me and I simply agreed to/accepted it.), but fine/whatever. Fast forward, the two treatments have been done and my lawn still is a shadow of it's former self, with far too many weeds. to be continued...

Aside from a misunderstanding during a sales call—which Free Spray eventually corrected via a manager —I’m pleased with both the service and the value. I don’t feel like just a “number,” but rather someone to whom they provide personalized care. They made scheduling and coverage adjustments based on my lawn activities, which is appreciated.

Free Spray had been treating our grass for the last 2-3 years and had a great experience overall and do very much recommend them.For some context- Our yard needed some love and after their lawn and pest treatment there was a noticeable difference. Last year was a bit harsh with lack of rain, but it is what it is and we all did our best. The few times I had called in with concerns and questions- they were patient enough to listen to me go on and more importantly made the effort to address my concerns or issues quickly. I want to also share another, pretty minor but very much appreciated detail, to our service that may be helpful to some of you is that when we jumped on board with their service. I'd requested that they give a call the day before they come, so we could make sure to coordinate their visit with keeping the dog off the grass for the couple hours it needed to set after treatment. We have a large dog and even though the chemicals are safe for them, we didn't want it on the dog or in the house- so this helped us out to watch for the technician.This is already more words than I had intended, but I do hope this helps anyone considering their service. Finally, a quick shout out to some of the people over there that've made the difference for me--- Amber, Macayla, Jacob, Kyle, Blade, Amanda, and Bob! Y'all are awesome, rock on, and thank you!
