Foothills Bee Company Introduce
Foothills Bee Company, based in Conover, North Carolina, stands out as a unique and invaluable service provider dedicated to both human property protection and honey bee conservation. In a region where honey bees are vital for local agriculture and ecology, but can also choose inconvenient or destructive nesting sites, this company offers a crucial balance. They are professional specialists in safe, live honey bee removal and relocation, offering a responsible alternative to traditional extermination that protects these essential pollinators.
Operating as both a dedicated bee relocation service and a honey farm, Foothills Bee Company brings a wealth of expertise to every job. Their team, led by figures like Corey Greer, is renowned for its thoroughness and attention to detail. This isn't just about removing a swarm; it's about surgically extracting entire hives, including the valuable honeycomb, from sensitive areas like walls, ceilings, and soffits, and then meticulously repairing the structure afterward. This dedication to both craftsmanship and conservation has earned them high praise from customers across the region, especially those with historic or complex properties who value careful work.
For North Carolina residents who find themselves with an unwanted honey bee colony—be it a sudden swarm or a long-established hive—Foothills Bee Company is the go-to resource. They ensure that the bees are safely relocated to a managed apiary where they can continue to thrive and contribute to the local ecosystem, a service that directly benefits the community’s gardens and farmlands. Their services extend beyond honey bees to general pest control for aggressive stinging insects, positioning them as the local authority for managing flying insect issues safely and professionally.
Foothills Bee Company is conveniently located in the Catawba County town of Conover, North Carolina. This strategic position in the central part of the western half of the state allows them to efficiently serve a wide geographic area across the foothills and beyond. Their services are not strictly limited to the immediate Conover or Hickory area; the team is known to travel to handle complex removal and relocation jobs in surrounding counties, including places like Wilkesboro, as evidenced by satisfied customer testimonials.
The main service hub is situated at 118 10th Ave SE, Conover, NC 28613, USA. Being situated near major highways, accessibility for their technicians across the region is optimized, which is essential when responding to time-sensitive calls like active bee swarms. The dedicated phone number, (828) 468-8792, provides direct access to their expert team for consultation and scheduling, making it easy for homeowners or property managers to quickly initiate the inspection and removal process. For urgent situations, such as a recent swarm settling onto a property, having a local, responsive expert is invaluable.
This commitment to covering a broad but focused Western NC service area highlights their dedication to providing local communities with a specialized service that few others can match: the safe and respectful removal and relocation of honey bees, alongside effective pest solutions for other stinging insects.

What makes Foothills Bee Company a distinguished choice for bee-related services in North Carolina are its unique features and high standards:
- Safe, Live Relocation: A core value is the safe extraction and relocation of honey bees, prioritizing conservation over extermination, a benefit to local agriculture.

Choosing Foothills Bee Company is a decision that aligns both with protecting your property and supporting vital bee populations in North Carolina. What makes them uniquely worth choosing is their unmatched specialization in live honey bee removal and relocation. Unlike many pest control services that default to extermination, Foothills Bee Company offers a highly technical and conservation-minded alternative.
The level of care and professionalism described by customers is truly exceptional. When honey bees build a hive inside a structure—like a soffit or a bedroom ceiling, as noted in reviews—the removal process involves more than just getting rid of the insects. It requires careful carpentry to open the wall, meticulous extraction of the bees and the messy honeycomb, and professional repair to ensure the home is sealed and restored. The team, particularly Corey, is noted for their "attention to detail and craftsmanship," which is crucial for preserving the integrity of any home, especially an "historic property." Customers were left with a "spotless" property after complex work, highlighting an extraordinary commitment to service.
Furthermore, their dual function as a rescue operation and a honey farm means that the service is ethical and beneficial. The bees are not destroyed; they are given a new, safe home where they can continue their work as pollinators. As a bonus, the homeowner often receives the extracted honey and honeycomb, turning a stressful problem into a sweet and tangible reward. Their communication is clear and consistent, ensuring that property owners are informed and comfortable throughout the entire process.
For any North Carolina resident facing an unwanted honey bee presence, whether it's a new swarm or a fully established colony causing structural issues, Foothills Bee Company offers the most professional, safest, and most ecologically responsible solution available. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This is an amazing team! We've had honeybees in our soffit for 3 seasons. Corey came out with his team and they found the entry source and plugged that and found them in the ceiling of one of our bedrooms....they extracted the bees (safely), patched up all the work (gave us the honeycombs and honey!) and when they left the house a property were left spotless. If you have any hives and honeybees that need to be removed I would highly recommend you call Corey and the Foothills Bee Company!! 5 stars for sure!!!
