Trutech Wildlife Service Introduce
For residents and businesses across North Carolina’s Triangle region, dealing with nuisance wildlife is a common, and often stressful, reality. From squirrels nesting in the attic to bats roosting in the eaves and raccoons making a den in the crawlspace, these problems require more than standard pest control—they demand specialized, humane wildlife management. Trutech Wildlife Service, with its local office in Cary, NC, positions itself as the professional solution for these challenging situations, offering a unique blend of animal removal expertise and property restoration services.
Trutech’s core focus is on comprehensive wildlife control, which goes beyond simple trapping. Their service model is built on a three-pronged approach: inspection, removal, and exclusion (prevention), followed by remediation and repair. This commitment ensures that the immediate problem is solved humanely, the damage caused by the animal is addressed, and long-term barriers are installed to prevent future intrusions. As one of the largest animal control and removal companies in the U.S., Trutech leverages decades of experience, with expert technicians who are often degreed and highly trained in handling a vast range of species commonly found in North Carolina.
While the nature of their work often involves significant projects—such as full home exclusions or extensive attic restoration—which can lead to higher service costs, the value placed on integrity is a key customer highlight. In one notable instance, a Trutech technician, Eric Adams, was praised for his honesty when he refused to quote a $4,200 repair, instead advising the homeowner that only minor gutter repairs were needed, demonstrating an ethical approach that puts the customer's best interest first. This type of integrity is a major factor in building trust with local clientele facing costly wildlife damage concerns.
However, potential customers should proceed with caution and verify all contract details. Like many large service companies, Trutech’s regional operations have received mixed feedback. There have been serious customer complaints, including instances of being overcharged, being double-billed, or having work orders that were paid for upfront but never fulfilled, leading to significant financial loss and a lack of follow-up communication. It is critical for all clients to meticulously review their contracts, ensure all payment terms are clear, and confirm scheduled service dates to protect themselves from potential administrative oversights. Trutech's own internal reports have, in some regions, acknowledged a lower rating for customer service compared to their completion time and workmanship, underlining the importance of clear, persistent communication throughout the service process.
Overall, Trutech Wildlife Service stands out in the Cary area for its specialized skill set in handling difficult wildlife situations and its capability to perform the necessary, often complex, structural repairs that follow animal intrusions.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This company ripped me off. I paid them upfront and after 3 weeks and no one arrived, I was told the work order never got run. After that, someone went to the location 3 times then called me to tell me more work had to be done and a new fee appeared for me to sign and pay which had duplicate charges, plus the previous contract had yet to be fulfilled. 2 people acknowledged I was being double charged.... then... no one ever contacted me again. I followed up with 2 people and silence. This company ripped me off for $1,000 and never did anything. Do not use them.
March 08 · S MillerI recently had Triangle Wildlife come out to address what I thought was a squirrel issue. Triangle quoted me $4,200 to fix the problem. I decided to get a second quote and called Trutech. Eric Adams from Trutech came out and spent a good amount of time walking around my house and exploring the attic. He then stepped out to his vehicle to prepare a quote. After about 10 minutes he came back to tell me that he wouldn't be giving me a quote as he'd essentially be ripping me off as I don't have a squirrel issue. He said I just need to get my gutters repaired in a few locations. I was super impressed with Eric's honesty and integrity. He was also training a new associate at that time and what an incredible example to set. Shout out to Eric and also if I ever do need wildllife services, you can bet I'll be calling Trutech. Watch out for those scammers over at Triangle Wildlife too!
December 19 · Craig EvansIMPOSSIBLE to do business with the company!Representative gave me quote but was not a comprehensive scope of work. When I asked for clarification in writing, they ghosted me. The price tag was $2500 so it was reasonable to expect a clear statement of scope of work.I followed up several times and they didn’t respond, even though I tried to reach a manager. Was told they let go of one manager due to lack of work.Other reviewers mentioned lack of customer service. Never got that far.For a company lacking work, they made it IMPOSSIBLE to do business with them.
December 23 · Pamela WallaceHad a visit from Chris today. Scheduled for tomorrow but called, said he was in the area and asked if I we would like him to come by. I have to say that after dealing with the "O" word folks Truetech was from the start a welcomed change. The "O" word folk without so much as coming out to the house tried to have us commit to a one year service contract!!!!! """NO THANK YOU!!!!"""" No pressure from beginning to end. Chris did a thorough inspection but was unable to detect the source of the scratching noise that we heard within the pantry wall. Instead of trying to sell us service that he couldn't target the source. He shared some self help suggestions that I could deploy. Oh and by the way "didn't charge" us a dime for all the time put into the inspection.Thank You Chris!!!!! Truetech has a winner in you!!!!!
June 13 · Frank MialesWhile I was very satisfied with TruTech's actual wildlife removal services earlier this year, and the pest control technician that we've worked with has been great, I unfortunately will not be renewing with TruTech when my contract expires due to what is some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced.I have been trying to lower the frequency with which I recieve pest control services since early April. Every time I call, I am on hold for at least half an hour before speaking to someone. (Not to mention that if I elect to recieve a callback to avoid waiting on hold, I never get a call back). Every time I speak with someone, I am told they must speak with a manager and give me a call back - guess what.. I have never gotten a call back. I have had some representatives give me their email. When I email them... I never get an email back.In May, I was finally able to request to stay on the phone until someone could speak with a manager. I was told that my service frequency would be lowered - Horry! Excpet that a technitian ended up coming out anyway in May AND now again in June. I have been desperately trying to have this resolved, and I was now told that 1. There is no note on my account that my frequency was ever lowered and 2. they need to speak to a manager and call me back. Mind you, this is from one of the same representatives that ghosted me via call and email before, so I don't imagine a callback is likely.I suppose I will just keep wasting hours of my life on hold trying to talk to someone once a week.
