Wildlife Nuisance Control Introduce
For property owners in the Lima, Ohio region and surrounding counties, dealing with unwanted animal intruders can be a stressful and sometimes dangerous experience. Wildlife Nuisance Control positions itself as a specialized Pest control service and Animal control service dedicated to managing conflicts between humans and local wildlife. Operating from its Lima location, the company offers targeted services focused on the removal of common nuisance animals that can cause property damage, transmit diseases, or simply become an unwelcome presence in your home or yard.
The core of the business is General wildlife removal, addressing issues with creatures such as Raccoon, Skunk, Groundhog, Bats, and Squirrel. These animals often seek shelter in attics, chimneys, under decks, or in basements, necessitating professional intervention to ensure both the safety of the residents and the efficient removal of the animal. Wildlife Nuisance Control aims to provide effective solutions for residents and businesses who find themselves faced with an unexpected animal problem.
However, potential customers should proceed with caution and a clear understanding of the company's operational methods and fee structure. While the firm handles a variety of nuisance pests, public feedback suggests significant discrepancies and issues regarding how services are quoted, delivered, and billed. One customer review details a controversial pricing policy where a full service fee was reportedly charged simply for a consultation, without any removal service being performed. Another highly concerning report describes the use of a firearm to dispatch a raccoon indoors, resulting in property damage and a distressing experience for the homeowner. These reviews highlight a stark divergence in customer experience and suggest the need for absolute clarity on methods and costs before engaging their services.
Wildlife Nuisance Control is locally situated in Lima, Ohio, providing a central base for their Nuisance Wildlife Control and removal operations across the local and extended service areas. Being based locally ensures that the company can, in principle, offer a timely response to animal emergencies and routine removal needs that arise for residents in Allen County and nearby communities.

For service inquiries, quotes, or to report a wildlife problem, the company can be contacted directly at:
Phone: (419) 234-2245
Mobile Phone: +1 419-234-2245
Given the public feedback concerning fees and billing practices, it is strongly recommended that any prospective client ensure they receive a detailed, itemized quote in writing before agreeing to any visit or service. All fee structures, including consultation fees, daily trapping fees, and per-animal removal fees, should be explicitly confirmed to prevent unexpected charges.
Wildlife Nuisance Control offers a range of services centered around the capture and removal of problematic wildlife and some Rodent extermination. These services are essential for protecting property from damage and mitigating health risks associated with certain wild animals.
- General wildlife removal: Comprehensive services for the removal of various animals that have become a nuisance or have entered a property.
- Raccoon Extermination and Removal: Targeting raccoons, which are frequent urban pests known for raiding trash, causing damage to roofs, and nesting in attics and chimneys.
- Skunk Control: Dealing with skunks, which pose a threat due to their spray and potential to carry rabies, often found under porches or sheds.
- Groundhog Removal: Specialized services for Groundhog or woodchuck removal, essential for protecting lawns, gardens, and building foundations from extensive burrowing.
- Squirrel Extermination: Control and removal of Squirell populations, which frequently cause damage by chewing on wires and nesting in attic spaces.
- Bat Exclusion: Services for the control and removal of Bats from residential and commercial structures, a specialized service that must comply with Ohio state laws regarding bat protection.
- Rodent extermination: Services addressing general rodent issues beyond squirrels, though the primary focus remains on larger nuisance wildlife.
- Wildlife Nuisance Control: The overarching service covering all non-pest insect animal control issues.
The primary highlight of Wildlife Nuisance Control is its specific focus on difficult-to-manage native Ohio wildlife, a necessity for residents across the state.
- Specialized Nuisance Animal Focus: The company's expertise lies in removing large, problematic animals such as Raccoon, Skunk, and Groundhog, which require specialized training and licensing to handle legally and safely.

- Broad Wildlife Scope: The service range covers the most common and damaging wildlife intruders in Ohio, including Bat removal, Squirrel removal, and Rodent extermination.
- Physical Accessibility: The business location provides a Wheelchair accessible parking lot, an amenity that addresses basic accessibility needs for in-person interactions.
- 24/7 Availability (Implied by reviews for immediate service): Although not officially stated, the nature of emergency wildlife issues suggests a capacity to address problems promptly. However, any after-hours or emergency fees must be clarified upfront.
A crucial note on the company’s operating features, based on customer feedback, is the importance of pre-service communication. Customers have highlighted issues with pricing transparency, including a reported practice of charging a full "service fee" for a consultation only. Furthermore, the documented instance of an indoor shooting of a nuisance animal raises serious questions about the methods employed and the safety protocols in place, an area of feature that demands rigorous clarification from the customer's perspective.
For residents and businesses in Lima, Ohio, seeking assistance with wildlife problems, the following contact information is provided for Wildlife Nuisance Control:
Address: 420 Findlay Rd, Lima, OH 45801, USA

Mobile Phone: +1 419-234-2245
It is imperative to use these contact channels to obtain a detailed and explicit breakdown of all expected costs, including any trip charges, daily trapping fees, or per-animal charges, before scheduling a service visit. This due diligence is necessary to establish an agreement and avoid unexpected billing issues.
The primary reason a resident in the Lima, OH, area would choose Wildlife Nuisance Control is its specialized expertise in General wildlife removal, particularly for larger pests like Raccoon, Skunk, and Groundhog that general pest control services may not handle. When a squirrel is in the attic or a groundhog is undermining the foundation, a dedicated Animal control service is a necessity, and this company focuses on those high-impact nuisances. Their local presence in Lima also offers the promise of a rapid response, which is crucial in a wildlife emergency.
However, potential clients must balance this service necessity with a strong need for caution and transparency. Publicly available customer feedback raises severe ethical and professional concerns, specifically regarding fee transparency—such as the reported full service fee for a mere consultation—and the use of dangerous, non-standard removal methods, like shooting an animal indoors, which led to property damage and sanitation hazards. For Ohio users, the decision to choose this service should only be made after a mandatory, explicit, and written confirmation of two things: first, all pricing, including consultation and daily fees, and second, a clear agreement on the humane and safe removal methods to be used on the property, explicitly ruling out the use of firearms indoors or in proximity to residences. Without these documented assurances, the potential for a negative and costly experience, as detailed in customer reviews, is a significant risk. Professional wildlife removal is essential, but it must be safe, humane, and transparently priced.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Stay far away from this guy.You call wildlife nuisance control about needing a groundhog removed, he tells you his services are $175. He comes to your house, proceeds to tell you that once he sets traps he charges $175 everyday he comes to check the traps which he has to do according to state laws. Plus $25 for each animal caught and removed. You decide his services are too much for your fixed income. So he just came to tell you his full service and fees. Should he charge a full service fee of $175 even though he didn’t provide a service? This person did this to my elderly, widowed grandmother....took her $175 for coming to her house, to tell her his prices and use her bathroom. Can someone please justify this to me before I loose my mind?Charge her something to come out for a “consult” but a full service fee? Makes me sick.
July 18 · ashley DWe called this service and fully explained we had a raccoon cornered on a shelf in our basement laundry room. Thinking of course he would come with a piece of equipment to capture it or possibly tranquilize to remove. He brought what looked like a fishing net. Instead he looked at it, pulled out his revolver and shot it...in our house, in our basement, in our laundry room. I told him I did not want that done. My husband hardly had time to respond to him. I would share the picture of our room after he shot it, didn’t immediately kill it and then attempted to get it down from the shelf, but it would probably be censured. 3.5 hours of scrubbing and sanitizing our laundry room, and having to just throw things away. NEVER again will I use this service, nor ever recommend it. $195!!!
