Catskill Animal Damage Control Introduce
For homeowners and businesses throughout the Hudson Valley and Catskill region of New York, the beauty of the natural environment often comes with an inevitable challenge: nuisance wildlife. When the sounds of chittering, scurrying, or scratching turn your peaceful attic, wall, or crawl space into an unwanted animal habitat, you need a quick, reliable, and professional solution. That is precisely the service provided by Catskill Animal Damage Control (Catskill ADC). Based locally in Olivebridge, NY, this family-owned and operated company specializes not just in getting the unwanted guests out, but in ensuring they can't get back in.
Catskill ADC is a fully licensed and insured pest control service that focuses exclusively on humane, effective wildlife control and the necessary structural repairs that follow. Their team, featuring experienced professionals like Mark and Donald, has built a reputation over more than 25 years of local experience for their expertise in handling complex wildlife issues—from a single squirrel in the soffit to an entire family of raccoons nesting in the attic.
The overwhelming consensus from local customers is one of deep satisfaction, especially regarding the professionalism and tailored approach to each unique infestation. One customer's detailed account perfectly illustrates their process: facing a vicious mother raccoon and her four babies in the attic, the technician, Mark, maintained constant communication, using expert knowledge of raccoon behavior to safely and strategically trap the entire family. The review highlights the technician's patience, diligence, and humane treatment of the animals—an essential priority for many New York residents. Another successful case involving a family of five raccoons in a cabin attic shows their rapid response and knowledgeable approach, catching three animals on the first night and correctly predicting the exit of the remaining babies once the mother was removed. This dedication to following through and providing a permanent solution is the hallmark of Catskill ADC.

Services Offered
Catskill Animal Damage Control provides comprehensive wildlife solutions that go far beyond simple trapping. Their goal is to offer "professional, permanent wildlife solutions" to residential and commercial properties. Services are designed around a four-step proven process: Inspect, Remove, Seal, and Monitor.
- General Wildlife Removal: Safe and legal removal of all nuisance wildlife common to New York, including squirrels, raccoons, skunks, bats, mice, opossums, and groundhogs.
- Animal Control and Trapping: Utilizing live traps and humane extraction methods tailored to the species and situation, ensuring minimal stress to the animals.

- Exclusion and Preventative Services: The critical phase of sealing entry points, which includes structural repairs, installing custom-fit barriers, vent guards, and chimney caps to prevent future animal access. This is considered the permanent solution to wildlife problems.
- Damage Control and Repair: Addressing the destruction left behind by animals, such as repairing rotted wood, sealing holes in soffits and fascia, and restoring structural integrity to damaged areas like crawl spaces and attics.
- Property Assessments: Comprehensive inspection of the entire property to identify current access points, signs of damage, and potential vulnerability to future intrusions.
- Bird and Bat Prevention: Removal of nesting materials and installation of discreet deterrent systems for birds, and specialized, humane exclusion work for bats, ensuring compliance with New York State regulations.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1What's that noise? In the roof - wait, now it's in the wall! Coming out of the winter I had noticed some rotted wood in one section of the soffit in the back of the house. Repairing it was on my spring to-do list. But - during the end of the winter a female raccoon moved into the attic space and had her babies! I called Catskill ADC and Mark called right back. He came over and evaluated the situation. They were not making noise at that time so we couldn't determine their current location. He had me keep in constant text communication with him and came right over again when I heard them. He was able to trap one of the babies and then used the baby to attract the Mom outside into a trap and once the Mom was trapped - he used her to attract the babies to exit the hole in the soffit - where he constructed a safe exit ramp for them to use to get close to Mom. And in a few hours when they got hungry - sure enough that's exactly what they did, and they were sitting on top of Mom's cage. When that happened I texted him and he came right over and captured the babies. The Mom and all four of babies were quite vicious - and he knew exactly how to quickly grab them on the back of their necks with his gloved hand and get them into a container. So then the entire family was reunited outside of the attic - and he brought them all to a place where they can be checked and relocated and released when they are ready. Mark was amazing and really knew the pattern that the raccoons would follow - the desired plan he initially verbalized was exactly what happened. He and I were constantly in touch during the process which took a couple of days - and he came back and forth to my house about a half dozen times in the process. I really felt that he was on the case and I had complete confidence in his expertise and diligence. I highly recommend him if you have a critter - or many critters - who think your roof or attic or walls or basement is their AirB&B. The animals were all treated extremely well with care and respect and I am so glad that I contacted Mark to relocate them. His service was a 10 out of 10! If you have an invasive animal problem - call ADC immediately and Mark and his son will know exactly what to do,
June 05 · Ralph LegniniDonald is awesome! We arrived at our family cabin (after several months away) to the chittering, snarling and scratching of racoons. A family of 5 racoons was living in the attic space. Since we were only going to be in town for few days, I was worried we wouldn't be able to get them out in time. I left a message for Catskill ADC and they called me back within the hour and came out to the house the same afternoon. Donald was extremely knowledgeable and he set live traps, catching 3/5 racoons on the first night. He picked up the caught racoons and readjusted/reset the traps for the remaining 2 racoons. As he predicted, with the mom caught and removed, the last 2 babies went out on their own that night. We boarded up the entry point and were racoon free. I highly recommend this business!
July 05 · Lynn MonaghanMark is the man! He assessed it and he did it. I had animals living in and damaging my home. Mark showed up when he said he would, found the entry points with ease, set the humane live traps, picked up the captured red squirrels shortly after they were trapped, and sealed the entry points when confident he had gotten them all. Mark solved the problem easily and dependably. I highly recommend him. He is reliable and a man of integrity. A true gem.
May 02 · Doris HCatskill Animal Damage Control is an outstanding Animal Removal organization and was highly responsive to my request. We had a squirrel living in our attic for 3 years that we had another company come and exclude twice and each time the squirrel came back. I am so impressed with Mark and his team and their commitment to high quality animal extraction -- they did an exceptional job and also came late in the evening when I called them and needed their urgent response.
September 20 · Brad AngevineCan't attest to their skill at killing animals but I can tell you they are totally unprofessional. I just had one of their drivers in a pickup truck tailgate my vehicle for the better part of my morning commute. The road split to two lanes and this guy decided to just keep driving behind me simply to be a jerk. Just a horrible reflection on any business. Teach your staff better. I'm really disgusted.
