Tri-County Termite & Pest Control Introduce
For residents and business owners in Southeastern Kentucky, dealing with pests is a year-round challenge. From the persistent threat of termites silently damaging property structures to the sudden annoyance of a summer ant invasion or an unwelcome winter rodent incursion, local expertise is crucial. Tri-County Termite & Pest Control, based right in Corbin, KY, provides that essential local knowledge, offering professional and dependable services to protect homes and businesses across the region.
As a key service provider in the area, Tri-County Termite & Pest Control has established a reputation over the years for its commitment to tackling a comprehensive range of pest problems. They are known for providing personalized service that often comes with a local, family-owned touch. Unlike larger national chains, local companies like Tri-County often pride themselves on a direct relationship with the customer, offering flexibility and responsiveness tailored to the specific needs of the Kentucky climate and environment. Many local customers, particularly those operating businesses or managing homes in the Corbin area, rely on this dependability for consistent, long-term pest management.
However, while they are praised for being dependable and offering competitive pricing, as noted by one long-term client who uses their services for both home and business, it is important to understand the full scope of their service commitment. A professional pest control service should not only apply treatments but ensure they are effective, which is why a guarantee is essential. One customer review highlighted a crucial pain point, stating that after an exterior and interior treatment for ants, the infestation worsened, and a subsequent request for a re-spray incurred an additional charge. This emphasizes the importance of clear communication regarding service guarantees and follow-up policies before signing up for any recurring or one-time treatment. When selecting a pest control partner in Kentucky, clients should always verify the company's policy on re-treatment for persistent issues to ensure the service is "done correctly to fix the issue," as the dissatisfied customer rightfully expected.
Despite isolated service disputes, the company’s ability to maintain long-term relationships with both residential and commercial clients across the tri-county region speaks to an overall consistent quality of service and a focus on keeping common local pests—including termites, general insects, and rodents—at bay. For the Kentucky homeowner, where wood-destroying insects are a major concern, having a local partner specializing in termite control is a significant advantage.
Tri-County Termite & Pest Control is strategically located in Corbin, Kentucky, making it easily accessible and providing a central base for servicing a wide area within the southeastern part of the state. This local positioning is vital for a pest control company, allowing for rapid deployment of technicians, especially for urgent or time-sensitive issues like sudden insect infestations or wildlife removal in the nearby counties.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We used them for a couple years no problem, however this year we had them spray outside and one inside room for ants a week after they sprayed ants were worse than before called and asked them to respray and was told I would be charged again. Won’t use this company again. If I pay for a service I expect it to be done correctly to fix the issue not cause more of an issue.

June 12 · SheilaI called to ask for someone to come out and spray for seasonal bugs and spiders. I was told the office manager was out but the technician who answered said he was able to help. He (Jeff) scheduled an appointment for the next day at 5:00. We waited. He never showed up or called. I called on Wednesday. The office manager was still out. Jeff answered again and apologized and said he forgot about us. He said he had a termite job to look at and then he would come on out to our house. We waited. He never showed up or called. I called again on Thursday and spoke to someone different. He apologized and said that was unacceptable and he would have Jeff to call me. He did call, apologized again and offered our first service free if we would still use them. I agreed and he scheduled for the following Tuesday at 5:00. We waited. He did not show or call. I texted him and he said he was stuck on a job and would understand if we wanted to use someone else. We will definitely use someone else. Not one, not twice but three times we waited and no one showed up or contacted us. This is very unprofessional!
May 24 · Tracy Saunders (Personal)My husband called to get someone to come out and do a treatment for ants at our house and a rental house that is nextdoor. They couldn't give a price quote or a time. They said they would call him the next day with information. He had to call them to get price and time that they would be here. We stayed home on the day they were supposed to come to do the treatments and nobody called or showed up. When my husband called to tell them that their service was no longer needed, they said they had a busy day and that is why nobody came or called us. Not a good way to do business.
