A1 Wildlife Pest Control LLC Introduce
For many residents of Pennsylvania, enjoying the beautiful natural landscape often comes with an unexpected downside: unwelcome wildlife guests. When animals like squirrels, birds, or raccoons move into your attic, chimney, or other areas of your home, the need for professional, reliable intervention becomes critical. A1 Wildlife Pest Control LLC, based in Bangor, PA, presents itself as a specialized solution for these complex nuisance animal issues, offering expertise in both general pest control and specific wildlife rescue services.
Operating across the greater Pennsylvania region, this company aims to address conflicts between homeowners and the diverse local wildlife population. Their services are designed to manage, remove, and ultimately prevent the entry of nuisance animals that can cause property damage, create health risks, and disrupt your peace of mind. As a local provider in the heart of the Lehigh Valley area, A1 Wildlife Pest Control LLC is positioned to handle the regional specificities of wildlife intrusions that are common in this part of the state.
However, potential customers are strongly advised to proceed with caution and due diligence before engaging their services. Public feedback indicates significant concerns regarding job completion, adherence to quotes, and communication. Reports suggest instances where initial service agreements were not fully honored, follow-up appointments were missed without proper notice, and necessary exclusion or cleanup work was left unfinished despite initial payment. While the company provides essential services, the client experience has, in some recorded cases, been marked by a lack of professional follow-through, resulting in frustration and additional, unexpected work for the homeowner.
A1 Wildlife Pest Control LLC is physically located at 450 Cedar Rd in Bangor, PA. This position in Northampton County places them in a key service area within the Lehigh Valley and surrounding Pennsylvania regions, allowing them to dispatch teams to address wildlife and pest issues efficiently in locations such as Allentown, Bethlehem, Easton, and beyond. This accessibility is vital for timely response to wildlife emergencies, such as a raccoon in the chimney or an active hornet nest, which require immediate attention to protect property and safety.
The company relies on telephone communication for initial contact and scheduling, which is common in the service industry. However, prospective clients should be aware that clear, written documentation of all promised services, costs, and timelines is essential, given past customer experiences where verbal agreements or initial understandings of the contract terms did not align with the final service delivery or billing.
A1 Wildlife Pest Control LLC's services focus on the humane and effective removal of animals that have become nuisances, combined with necessary pest control measures. The core services provided are categorized as:
- Wildlife Trapping and Removal: Targeting nuisance animals that have gained access to homes and commercial properties.
- Removal of small animals like flying squirrels (as documented in customer interactions).
- Trapping services for various wildlife species that commonly invade attics, walls, and sheds.
- Bird and Nesting Removal: Specialized services for addressing bird infestations.
- Removal of birds and nesting materials from residential areas, such as attics and vents.
- Installation of exterior exclusion measures, such as mesh coverings on vents, to prevent future entry.
- Exclusion and Prevention: Services intended to seal entry points and prevent future infestations.
- Identification and sealing of holes and entry points on the roof, eaves, and foundation after animal removal.
- Installation of protective barriers to safeguard vulnerable areas of the structure.
- General Pest Control Services: Although primarily focused on wildlife, the company is listed as a general pest control provider.
- Services for common insects and pests typical to the Pennsylvania region.
When considering A1 Wildlife Pest Control LLC, several aspects of their stated process and reported customer experiences stand out, requiring careful consideration from potential clients:
- Use of Monitoring Tools: The company incorporates technology such as cameras to monitor wildlife activity on the property. While this is a valuable tool for confirming that animals have vacated an area, customers have reported instances where the retrieval of this equipment and the subsequent, critical follow-up work were not handled professionally or in a timely manner.
- Focus on Exclusion: The practice of installing mesh coverings and sealing holes is a recognized industry standard for preventing re-infestation. This is a crucial component of their offering, as seen in the work performed on vents to deter birds. However, the integrity of the job is compromised if the final sealing of entry points is not completed, as noted in customer complaints about unfinished work.
- Humane Considerations: The core offering is centered on the trapping and removal of nuisance wildlife, implying a humane approach to animal control. This method is effective when traps are regularly checked, and animals are handled according to state regulations, but requires consistent follow-through and adherence to a defined schedule.
- Contract Clarity and Communication Issues: A major recurrent theme in customer feedback is a disconnect between the initial conversation with the owner/sales representative and the work performed by the technician. Furthermore, there are specific, documented cases where customers were initially quoted a price that included cleaning and removal, only to be told later that these services would incur additional charges, a direct contradiction to the contract language they were provided. This lack of consistent communication and clarity on service scope is a serious risk factor for customers.

A1 Wildlife Pest Control LLC specializes in a critical and complex niche—wildlife removal and exclusion—which is highly sought after by Pennsylvania residents whose homes are susceptible to intrusion by flying squirrels, birds, and other animals. The benefit of choosing a specialist over a general exterminator is the deep knowledge required for trapping and exclusion. However, based on the documented public data, potential clients must prioritize careful contract review and establish clear expectations. While the company offers the right services—trapping, removal, exclusion, and even camera monitoring—the execution has been inconsistent. It is absolutely essential to get all aspects of the service, including cleanup, hole sealing, follow-up checks, and the final price, documented in writing. For Pennsylvania residents in the Bangor and surrounding regions, the core value of A1 Wildlife Pest Control LLC lies in its specific focus on nuisance animals, but this must be balanced with meticulous attention to detail and insistence on timely, completed service to ensure the job is fully and professionally resolved.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Called A1 Wildlife for flying squirrels in my attic, they came and put traps on my roof, they came about 4 times to check cages which they did catch a couple. I informed technician that I wanted that area sealed up and he informed me we need to make sure they're not anymore in attic as it will be a problem and I agreed. I went up on my roof and found there cage still there so I called them up and informed owner that there cage is still there and they didn't seal the hole up. They did come and owner informed me they didn't come because he had a medical condition. Well I understood in a way, but still should have your employee complete job. but they put a camera on the roof to make sure there's no activity. I asked them how long will camera be up there he said about a week, and I informed him to have technician see me when he comes to remove camera, that did not happen. I called owner back and asked them if they came to remove camera and he said they did. I asked him did they seal the hole and he said no because I was having work done in by backyard that was his excuse. I asked him when would someone come and he told we within a week, again I asked him to have technician see me before he does it and to this day 10/5/24 no one has come and also called and left message. I do not recommend this company they take your money and run!
October 05 · Dorothy GiovinazzoI hired Tegwyn Hughes Wildlife Pest Control because they seemed straight forward when I spoke with Tegwyn on the phone and he explained what they would do during the visit to my home to remove birds and nesting from my attic. The employee that arrived for the visit was not familiar with the conversation of what he would be doing that day. He looked at the nesting in the attic, but did not remove anything. He installed mesh covering of the vents and asked me what type I would like for the thicker mesh he or another employee would install on the follow-up visit, at which point they would clean out the nesting. I walked through the cost breakdown with him, he explained the const on the contract was the final cost to expect, and I anticipated a call in the next few days. One week later I called them back and was told removing the nesting would be additional cost. I was told the employee at my house did not tell me they would remove it as part of the visit and to re-read the contract. They then hung up and cut off the conversation. I checked the contract, in particular the language that states, "This fee will provide (4) days of service and is non-refundable whether the nuisance animals are caught or not. While we cannot guarantee that complete removal will be accomplished in this time frame, we will make every effort to remove the resident and visiting nuisance animals in the initial (4) days." What I wound up getting was a single visit, mesh on the outside of my vents and a series of experiences of complete unprofessional service. I would recommend never using this company, trusting their staff, or depending on them to honor their own contracts. I spent the day I took off from work, which they informed me they would not be coming for their second visit half an hour before the appointment time, removing the nesting from my attic to finish the services I had already paid for but never received.
November 12 · Isaac KesslerI engaged Wildlife Pest Control to remove a very large hornet nest that was attached to my home. Mr. Hughes explained by phone why it would be dangerous to deal with this myself, and then described the procedure he would use to accomplish the job. His friendly colleague, Andrew, arrived at our place the very next day and efficiently removed the nest. I had obtained three quotes for this job. Hughes was by far the most reasonable.. less than one-third of the Ehrlich quote (who tried to upsell us an entire program-- avoid them)!!! Wildlife Pest Control is highly recommended. Alan
August 22 · Alan GrossI had a lot of squirrels in my walls. I could hear them running around every morning. I read story upon story about the destruction this little guys can do and called A1 Wildlife Pest Control. Within a few weeks all the squirrels were gone and they had patched up the hole where they were getting in. I am very happy with their service and would call them again.
January 27 · Alice DerlundMoved into a home in North Bangor. When examining the crawl space I found hundreds of eaten walnuts. Physically saw a squirrel. Could here mice at night. Called A1. Showed up in a few days. Did a 5 min at best exam. Did NOTHING on inside. Placed 3 or 4 traps outside. NEVER caught one damn thing. No traps inside.....nothing. They never checked traps unless you called them. Weeks later they took their traps and never heard from them again. They got their $250 though. That weekend I bought 4 mice traps and a squirrel trap. First weekend alone I caught 8 mice inside. They SUCK
