Brooks Pest Control Introduce
For residents and business owners in LaFollette and the broader East Tennessee region, reliable pest control is a constant necessity. Brooks Pest Control, located in LaFollette, TN, is a local service provider with a significant history in Campbell County, offering a wide array of pest and termite control solutions for both residential and commercial properties. They position themselves as a comprehensive solution for managing the numerous insect, rodent, and stinging insect challenges common to the region's climate and environment.
Brooks Pest Control is dedicated to helping homeowners maintain a pest-free environment year-round. Their service offerings are extensive, covering common household nuisances like ants, spiders, and cockroaches, as well as more specialized and destructive pests such as termites, bed bugs, and powderpost beetles. Understanding the seasonal nature of many pest problems in Tennessee, they offer tailored treatments and recurring programs designed to provide consistent protection. They emphasize that their recurring programs are budget-friendly, making year-round pest management accessible to more local families.
The company highlights its history as the oldest pest control company in Campbell County, suggesting a deep-rooted local knowledge and understanding of the specific pest pressures that East Tennessee properties face. This local expertise is often critical for developing effective, long-term pest management strategies, especially for pests like carpenter bees and stinging insects that are prevalent in the area's wooded and natural landscapes. Brooks Pest Control's goal is to effectively rid properties of unwanted pests and provide preventative measures to keep them at bay, ensuring the safety and comfort of their clientele.
However, potential customers should note that while the company promotes a broad spectrum of services and recurring programs for customer satisfaction, there are publicly available reviews that raise serious concerns. Some customers have expressed extreme dissatisfaction, citing issues with service effectiveness, poor customer support, and disputes over billing for uncompleted or unsatisfactory work. These negative accounts, which allege non-attendance for repeat services after an initial visit and difficult cancellation experiences, contrast sharply with the company's stated goal of providing quality pest control. It is recommended that Tennessee residents considering their services perform thorough due diligence, perhaps inquiring specifically about service guarantees, cancellation terms, and the process for addressing repeat service issues before committing to a contract.
The company offers convenience with on-site services and accessibility features like a wheelchair-accessible entrance at their main office, reflecting a commitment to accommodating the community. Their stated business hours and multiple local phone lines across various East Tennessee towns (Harriman, Knoxville, Oak Ridge, Oneida, and LaFollette) suggest a wide service radius, which is a major convenience for residents across several counties.

When considering Brooks Pest Control in LaFollette, Tennessee, for a local pest management solution, what is objectively worth choosing is their extensive regional coverage and broad service menu. For residents and businesses located in the seven-county area—from Campbell to Knox and surrounding counties—the company provides a single point of contact for virtually any pest issue common to East Tennessee, from routine ant and spider control to specialized treatments for bed bugs, carpenter bees, and termites. Their advertised local history in Campbell County also suggests an institutional knowledge of the area’s unique environmental pest challenges.
However, potential customers must make their decision with an awareness of the significant disparity between the company's advertised features and the public accounts of their service delivery. The company provides a robust list of services, convenient accessibility, and a free inspection—all positive attributes for a local service provider. Nevertheless, the serious, repeated allegations from customers regarding non-attendance for pre-paid repeat services, charges for uncompleted work, and poor customer support must be seriously weighed.
Therefore, while the scope of their service is attractive for East Tennessee residents with diverse pest control needs, it is advisable for any user to proceed with extreme caution. It is critical to obtain clear, written commitments regarding their service guarantee, cancellation penalties, and most importantly, the clear procedure for scheduling and confirming routine follow-up visits before signing any long-term service contract.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Would not recommend. I have a different service company before for few issues. After 2 service with Brooks the spiders and bugs was even worse. Horrible customer service. Bad service to start. Then charged ridiculous amount of money to quit there bad service that did work. Go to lowes and do it your own best control. It's better and much cheaper.
August 19 · Michael AlstottOne of the most unprofessional company I have ever experienced. They will come for the initial service because they need your initial service money, they will never ever show up for repeat service even if there is problem and will mark the appointment as complete in their system. Be aware of this fraud company. Raising a dispute right away!
August 29 · Abhishek MajumdarI have used Brooks Pest Control for 8 years now. They are fabulous. Mr. Jim is kind, professional and extremely good at what he does. He knows us (and our pets) by first name. I could not be happier with their service! Use Brooks Pest Control and use Mr. Jim, if you can!!
August 08 · Travis ForemanBrooks technician "Angela", wasabsolutely super!!!!! Extremely competent and knowledgeable. She was extremely thorough and polite. Very happy we decided to go with Brooks pest solutions here in Dandridge Tennessee.
July 29 · Vincent DaCunzaThis is the 3rd month with Brooks. Have had 2 different technicians come out. The first initial was Virginia, 2nd was Chris and then today Virginia again.I am torn on which way to rate my review as Chris did fine. Exactly what he said he did and it seemed to help. But today. Virginia told me all kinds of lies. 1 "my garage was too far, her manager said not to and she didn't do it the first time either" although he first time out she told my wife she did, and did at least put a bait box up there. She originally ask if I had been seeing any activity which I had been seeing bees and spiders, I assumed she would ask me to show her where specifically just like Chris did, but she didn't. When I ask her she says ya I got it, it was the Crack at the brick right? I replied yes. But what about where back here in the storage room we been seeing the spiders and in the garage. She then said they can't do it bc is too far.In her notes she put down several things she "did" but my eyes and my cameras never once saw her touch the bait boxes that she checked. If she did she would have noticed the squirrels have been in the bait again..I called customer service and the guy there ask me about canceling, bc I told Virginia I was going to?? Never once said a thing to her about this. She also put in her notes that she couldn't do her job bc of my aggressive dogs that are chained up. In HER notes they "are chained up" and yes they are that way she CAN do her job and not be bothered by the 2 dogs. The customer service rep took care of me and has someone different coming out to do the rest of the job and Virginia will no longer be back here.Overall the pest product Chris put down worked. He done what he said he would. He was attentive to the needs. Asked the right questions. But Virginia didn't do what she said. Lied. And as soon as she walked away from me was talking on her phone. And as she left was putting in more lies on her notes. Brooks pest control should really watch who they have representing their company, driving their vehicle etc. If she will lie about these little things to get out of work what else would she lie about.Fortunately I work here and monitor these things to verify i get what I pay for. I gel sorry for those who are at work and are getting charged for services not truly knowing what's being done and what's not
