As local users know, in a region with historic homes and dense forests, the expertise in exclusion and wildlife management is often as critical as the extermination itself, making Catseye's specialized offerings particularly relevant to the Connecticut community.

What sets Catseye Pest Control apart for Connecticut users is its emphasis on long-term prevention and its commitment to professional standards. These key features and highlights are critical factors for those seeking enduring protection for their property:
- Cat-Guard Exclusion System: This proprietary, chemical-free exclusion system is a major highlight. It involves custom-installed permanent barriers—such as soffit closures, vent guards, and rust-resistant flashing—designed to seal up a structure from top to bottom, preventing the re-entry of rodents and wildlife. This focus on permanent structural solutions aims to reduce the need for repeat chemical treatments.
- QualityPro Accredited: The company holds the QualityPro “Mark of Excellence” from the NPMA, signifying a commitment to ethical business practices, professional training, and high-quality service, which gives Connecticut customers a benchmark of reliability.
- Comprehensive Service Approach: Services extend beyond mere extermination to include important restorative work like Attic Restoration and Crawl Space Repair. This recognizes that pests, especially wildlife and rodents, cause structural damage that requires professional repair and clean-up to fully resolve the problem.
- Focus on Prevention: The underlying Integrated Pest Management (IPM) approach ensures that initial service begins with thorough inspections and concentrates on exclusion first, using targeted treatments only as necessary. This is an environmentally conscious strategy often preferred by homeowners.
- Client Management Tools: The service includes features like Electronic Reporting, providing clients with detailed documentation of services performed. Furthermore, Catseye has historically emphasized a commitment to quality over speed, encouraging in-depth service visits, which is a significant factor in ensuring thorough pest management.
For individuals and businesses across Connecticut, selecting a pest control provider should be guided by a combination of expertise, service scope, and commitment to customer satisfaction. Catseye Pest Control is a compelling choice due to its decades of experience in the Northeast and its unique focus on exclusion services like the Cat-Guard system. This permanent barrier can offer homeowners a level of peace of mind that goes beyond temporary baiting or spraying.
The company’s high-level accreditation and A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau reflect a formal commitment to quality and service. However, as is the case with many high-volume service providers, customer experiences can vary. While one customer may praise the immediate, responsive removal of a wasp nest, another may express frustration over perceived inconsistency in recurring service checks, or difficulties in reaching management to resolve complex contract issues, as noted in public reviews. The reported issues regarding thoroughness of ongoing treatments and communication with management over long-term contracts are important factors for potential clients to consider.
In conclusion, those in Connecticut looking for a provider that prioritizes long-term exclusion, comprehensive clean-up, and is backed by industry accreditation will find Catseye Pest Control to be a top contender. It is advisable to engage in a detailed discussion about the Platinum Year-Round Home Protection or any customized service plan to ensure clear expectations on service frequency, the extent of treatment, and the specifics of the permanent exclusion warranty, ultimately securing the most comprehensive and satisfying outcome for your property protection needs.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I started the platinum plan with Catseye three years ago when I purchased my home. The service was amazing then. The technicians spent about 30 minutes refilling bait stations, spraying for insects, and ensuring that there were limited entry points for rodents. I was happy to pay the monthly fee because the service was great and gave me peace of mind. I had never seen any pest in my home other than spiders and occasional ants. When I reported seeing ants, they would send a technician the following week and took care of the issue per the package I pay for. Fast forward to today, the service is no longer good. The technicians now spend five minutes at my home and I recently discovered by watching my cameras, that the technician that’s been coming to my home has not been doing anything while there despite his service report stating he has done all of the services. I now have rodent activity inside of my home. I now know it’s because the services weren’t being done. I called to speak with a manager months ago and have yet to hear from a manager to this day. I also called the office last week to report that I was watching the technician from my camera just sit in the truck and not complete the service, the manager has not called me back. I think the company has taken on more accounts than they are equipped to handle. I loved my service so much before, but sadly I have to close my account. I refuse to pay $98/month for nothing. I’ll be going with another pest control company.
October 07 · Kieauntae WatkinsWe had a difficult wasp nest location under a planter that was located next to our back door and patio. Catseye was very responsive and the tech came out with protective gear for removal. Definitely on our recommendation list for future issues.David H
August 31 · David King HawesServices were provided in a professional and respectful manner. I felt comfortable with the technicians that visited my home which is very important to me. At one visit the technician noticed an issue with a new roof—not part of his job but I really appreciated it as I would not have known to look for that. Highly recommend!!
September 18 · Dyann BakerPaid 650 for plantinum service, all they have done put cheap muese trap that costs 99 cents. It has not caught anything. Their visits are quick and leave with 10-15 minutes. They were supposed to check were a the opening are to close it, so mouses don't get in, I showed them where one of the mouse usually comes from and wanted the whole opening close and they just did the bottom as shown in the picture and the whole top side part still open.I feel al technician are lazy and really no doing anything.I expected for 650$ see faster solutions. The funny thing as well all their traps have nothing that will make the mouse go near the trap. Is empty. If I imagine the 650$ would cover things i could have done my self, I would not have call them. I'm currently discovering more holes around my house and covering the my self. The 650 included for them to inspect my whole house to see where they could be coming in and they didn't even do that and mind you for the kitchen I took everything out to make it easier for them to inspect.Do not waste your money on them.Scammers
September 01 · Jefferson MoranCalling Catseye was the best decision I ever made. It has been 3 years and in that time we have been mice-free. It was totally worth every cent we spent!! The fellow who did our work was thorough and professional. When I had a question a year later my call was answered immediately and my question answered. I have recommended this service to many people in my small rural wooded town
