Kirkland's Pest Control Introduce
Kirkland's Pest Control, operating out of Sevierville, Tennessee, is a provider of comprehensive pest management solutions for the East Tennessee region. The company emphasizes a broad service portfolio, including residential, commercial, and industrial offerings, aiming to address the diverse pest challenges faced by property owners in and around the Smoky Mountain area. Their core services cover a spectrum of needs, from general pest eradication to highly specialized treatments for destructive or difficult-to-manage invaders, such as termites and bed bugs.
As a company with deep roots in the community, Kirkland's Pest Control has positioned itself to handle the specific climate and environmental factors that contribute to pest issues in Tennessee. The humid environment and close proximity to natural areas often lead to high pressure from wood-destroying insects, moisture-related pests, and common household bugs. To combat this, their service list highlights critical areas like Termite Control, Termite Inspection, and the less common but crucial Moisture Control, suggesting an integrated approach to property protection. They also list advanced treatments, such as Heat Treatments, specifically necessary for stubborn problems like Bed Bug Infestation, indicating an investment in modern, effective pest elimination technology.
However, while the company’s service list is comprehensive and technologically advanced, it is important for potential clients to be fully aware of the execution and customer service experience. Based on recent customer accounts, there have been significant and concerning issues related to contract fulfillment, billing accuracy, communication, and technician consistency, which is vital for any recurring service. A professional pest control provider should be a reliable partner, and Tennessee residents considering Kirkland's Pest Control should verify their current service protocols and contract terms in detail before committing.
Kirkland's Pest Control is strategically located in Sevierville, Tennessee, placing them in a key area to service the densely populated tourist and residential communities of Sevier County, which includes areas like Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, as well as the broader East Tennessee region. Their location ensures accessibility to the many commercial, industrial, and log home properties common in this area.

It is advisable to use these contact methods to discuss current service policies, billing adjustments, and technician scheduling preferences, particularly if considering a recurring service contract. Clear communication upfront can help set expectations and potentially mitigate future service issues.
The primary reason a Tennessee resident might initially choose Kirkland's Pest Control is for their specialized treatment options, specifically their commitment to advanced services like Bed Bug Heat Treatments and their crucial Moisture Control and Termite Protection packages. In East Tennessee, where structural pests and bed bugs are a persistent threat, having a local company that offers these sophisticated solutions is a significant advantage. The Heat Treatments, in particular, represent a modern and highly effective solution to one of the most difficult pest problems.
However, the decision to choose this company must be tempered by the recent, detailed customer reviews that highlight severe inconsistencies in service delivery and customer management. Reported issues include an inability to resolve initial pest problems after multiple treatments, significant failures in communication (no return calls from managers or specialists), inconsistency with assigned employees leading to variable quality of work, unadjusted billing for no-show appointments, and failure to follow basic customer requests, such as calling before a visit. The reported termination of a contract without customer consent, leaving the client still struggling with the pest issue, is a major red flag for reliability.
Therefore, while the potential for effective, specialized treatment is present, the current reality, based on user feedback, indicates a serious breakdown in customer service, contract adherence, and internal operations. For Tennessee customers prioritizing highly specialized services like heat treatment, Kirkland's Pest Control offers the necessary technology. But for those seeking consistent service, transparent communication, and guaranteed contract fulfillment—which is essential for long-term pest and termite protection—a thorough, recent check of the company’s ability to reliably deliver on its service claims is highly recommended before entering into any long-term agreement. The customer should explicitly confirm that the internal issues related to scheduling, billing, and communication have been fully resolved.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We called them to take care of an ant problem. After 2 treatments there was no difference, same ant problem. They said they would send a specialist out, never called, never came by. We tried to just get out of out contract, they said they'd have a manager call us. Never called. Called one more time to follow up and they said they just terminated our contract. Over $150 spent and we're still looking for pest control. I think if you can't fix the problem, just say so.
June 10 · Joey VanDuserI've had them for over a year the first four five months were great with the same employee who did an outstanding job. We only get the outside of our log home treated. For the year that followed it has been an absolute disaster we have had at least six different employees the first one was afraid of spiders in those 12 months we had four months of no show but they still billed us I called after a week as supervisor contacted me and said that he saw where they hadn't shown up and they will adjust the bill to this date months later they never have. This morning was the last straw. We only ask that they call us in advance so we have our dogs in the house about 9th at about 9:15 this morning in a pouring rain the service man showed up at the door of course without calling. You would think after 18 months they would figure out that it's not the brightest idea it's a treat the outside of a home in a driving rainstorm and of course not calling again first and just showing up in the months that they do show up. December 28 · Mike TriantafellouJeremy came to help us with our worst nightmare... Bed bugs. Not only was he extremely knowledgable, friendly, prompt and patient with our questions, he took the time to make sure the job was done right the first time. He drove almost 80 miles each way 3 days in a row to make sure we were taken care of, and happy with our service. I highly recommend him for any of your pest control needs.
December 15 · Emily JohnstonVery prompt and professional staff. They conduct themselves very well. Their K9 inspection dogs are awesome. I would highly recommend their services.Five stars all the way!
November 13 · Michael PaulsonKirkland's Pest Control representative did an excellent job on the monthly service at our cabin at 361 Caney Creek, Pigeon Forge, TN. His name is Lee Henderson. He was very thorough with the inspection which included sweeping down spider webs and knocking down dirt dobber nests on the outside before going inside to fully inspect the interior. Mr. Henderson sprayed for bugs and put out all necessary traps, etc. to take care of any pest concerns or issues. He was very conscientious about the job he was doing, and we certainly want Mr. Henderson to be our monthly representative in the future.
